HOW MUCH ARE YOUR TRIPS?
- OUR PRICE IS $175/HOUR
WHAT TIME DO YOU DEPART?
- OUR DEPARTURE TIME VARY.
- FOR MORNING TRIPS WE LEAVE AT 6A.M APRIL 1 - AUGUST 31. WE LEAVE AT 7A.M SEPTEMBER 1 - MARCH 31.
- OUR AFTERNOON DEPARTURE TIME IS DEPENDENT UPON OUR MORNING TRIP. YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL WITH AN AUTOMATED DEPARTURE TIME. THIS TIME MAY VARY BETWEEN 11A.M AND 1 P.M DEPENDING. WE WILL CONTACT YOU TO CLARIFY THAT TIME AFTER BOOKING.
IS THERE A REQUIRED AMOUNT OF HOURS TO BOOK?
- WE OFFER TRIPS WITH A MINIMUM BOOKING OF 4 HOURS. OCCASIONALLY, WE ARE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE A 3 HOUR CHARTER, BUT THIS IS OFFERED ON A DAY BY DAY BASIS AND WE WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK WITH YOU DIRECTLY TO SEE IF THAT OPTION IS AVAILABLE.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN GO ON YOUR TRIPS?
- THE HOURLY RATE COVERS UP TO 4 PASSENGERS OF ALL AGES. WE CAN TAKE UP TO 6 PASSENGERS WITH EACH PASSENGER AFTER 4 HAVING A ONE TIME $100 BOARDING FEE, THIS WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR TOTAL THE DAY OF THE TRIP. OUR TRIPS ARE DESIGNED FOR 4 PASSENGERS. IDEALLY, IF YOU HAVE ANYONE EXTRA, THEY SHOULD BE CHILDREN. THIS IS TO MAKE YOUR EXPERIENCE AS ENJOYABLE AS POSSIBLE. NO MORE THAN 4 PASSENGERS WILL BE FISHING AT THE SAME TIME.
- TARPON TRIPS HAVE A MAXIMUM ALLOWANCE OF 3 PASSENGERS
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
- OUR PRICE INCLUDES EVERYTHING YOU NEED EXCEPT FOR FOOD, DRINK, AND THE CAPTAINS GRATUITY. THIS INCLUDES FISHING LICENSES
FOR EVERYONE, RODS/REELS, BAIT, TACKLE, ICE, LIFE VESTS, AND THE CAPTAIN WILL FILET AND BAG YOUR FISH AT THE END OF THE TRIP.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
- DRINKS, SNACKS, SUNSCREEN (NO SPRAY SUNSCREEN), HATS, SUNGLASSES, CAMERA, AND A LIGHT JACKET DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER
WHERE DO WE FISH?
- WE FISH IN THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE BAY AND/OR UP TO 9 MILES OFF SHORE IN THE GULF OF MEXICO.
WHAT WILL WE CATCH?
- YOUR CATCH WILL DEPEND ON THE TIME OF YEAR AND THE LOCATION WE FISH. IN THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE BAY WE COMMONLY FISH FOR
REDFISH, SPECKLED TROUT, FLOUNDER, POMPANO, AND SHEEPSHEAD. IN THE GULF OF MEXICO, RED SNAPPER, BLACK SNAPPER, GROUPER,
KING MACKEREL, COBIA, AND TARPON ARE THE MAIN TARGET SPECIES. THESE ARE BASED ON SEASONAL AVAILABILITY AND FWC RULES AND REGULATIONS AT THE TIME. YOU ARE ABLE TO CHECK FWC.COM TO SEE WHAT WILL BE IN SEASON DURING THE TIME OF YOUR VISIT.
SHOULD WE FISH IN THE BAY OR THE GULF? WHATS BETTER?
- BOTH AREAS ARE GREAT FOR FISHING. WHEN YOU BOOK, FEEL FREE TO LEAVE US A NOTE ON WHICH YOU PREFER BUT ULTIMATELY IT WILL BE THE CAPTAINS DECISION DUE TO WEATHER AND FISHING CONDITIONS. WE WANT YOU GUYS TO HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE FISHING WITH US AND THE CAPTAIN WILL MAKE THE DECISION ON WHAT WILL BE THE MOST ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE AS FAR AS BOAT RIDE AND FISHING.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? WHAT IF WEATHER IS AN ISSUE?
- FOR CANCELLATIONS, PLEASE CONTACT US AT LEAST 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO AVOID BEING CHARGED. UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
WILL NOT RESULT IN YOU BEING CHARGED. WE WILL TRY TO WORK AROUND THE WEATHER AND IF POSSIBLE MOVE YOUR TRIP TO ANOTHER DAY. OUR FLORIDA WEATHER IS VERY ODD, AND EVEN THOUGH THE FORECAST MAY CALL FOR RAIN, IT TYPICALLY IS A QUICK SHOWER OR WILL AVOID OUR AREA ALL TOGETHER.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I BOOK ONLINE?
- YOU'RE ALL SET! YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL THAT GOES OVER EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR THE TRIP (PICKUP LOCATION,
ADDRESS, CONFIRMATION OF DATE AND TIME, MORE DETAILS ON WHAT TO BRING AND NOT TO BRING. IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE THE EMAIL
WITHIN AN HOUR OF BOOKING, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL. IF IT IS NOT THERE, PLEASE REACH OUT TO US BY CALL OR TEXT AND WE WILL SEND A NEW EMAIL OVER.
IS THERE ANYTHING WE SHOULDN'T BRING WITH US?
- WE ASK THAT YOU LEAVE YOUR COOLERS AT HOME. WE WILL HAVE A COOLER FILLED WITH ICE FOR YOUR COLD ITEMS. WE ALSO HAVE A
SMALL AREA TO STORE YOUR DRY ITEMS BUT IT IS VERY LIMITED SO PLEASE PACK LIGHT.
- PLEASE LEAVE ALL PERSONAL TACKLE AT HOME. ROD STORAGE ON THE BOAT IS LIMITED. ALL NECESSARY EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED IN THE PRICE OF THE TRIP.
WHAT IS CUSTOMARY FOR THE CAPTAINS GRATUITY?
- WHILE THAT IS UP TO YOU AS THE CUSTOMER, TYPICALLY 15-20% IS CUSTOMARY.
IS THERE A DEPOSIT?
- YES. WE DO REQUIRE $100 DEPOSIT. THIS WILL BE APPLIED TO YOUR TRIP TOTAL AND YOUR REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE DUE THE DAY
OF THE TRIP (CASH OR CREDIT). SHOULD YOUR TRIP BE CANCELLED WITHIN OUR 72 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY, YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE
FULLY REFUNDED TO YOU. IN ADDITION, IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE TRIP DUE TO WEATHER OR OTHER UNFORSEEABLE EVENTS, WE WILL
REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT 100%,
